- Abstract
According to an example of electric poles collapse oncliff which leads to a serious accident,this paper analyses its geologiccondition,environment,load,internal force and so on.The reasons whythe accident occured are presented.Some specific methods and measuresare used to analyse and prevent the collapse accidents of ordinary struc-tures and building with high gravity centre.It usually occurrs on cliffin mountain area.
