- Abstract
Based on the crack tip microcrack density theory,a supposition that total AE count is directly proportional to the total microcrack length is proposed,a relationship between total AE count and stress intensity factor for stable crack growth is derived. With a series of experimental results, the relationship between theoretical derivation and the experimental results is compared,it shows that the theoretical derivation coincides better with the experimental results.
