- Abstract
A storage management approach,based upon multi-base and multi-record is presented in accordance with the current situation and application of the engineering data base.The approach provides a useful model for improving the performance of engineering data base.Through this approach,the intermal storage is fully used,the input/output(I/O)is reduced and the efficiency of the system is enhanced.The user is allowed to define the size and contents of workspace by himself.
