- Abstract
In the light of the field investigation on Bashu Cliffside Carvings with Cliffside Sculpture and Cliffside Buddhism Temple as the main stream and the analysis of historical documents,this paper intends to show the distribution laws and the shape characteristic of Bashu Cliffside Big Buddhist Grotto.It also points out the cultural connotation of religious architecture presented by the Bashu Cliffside Buddhist Grotto matched with the nature and the temples.
